White garden

 

New Malden: east-facing, post-extension garden.

This was project had a small space and budget with a lot to achieve. Our clients asked us to fit in two patios and as much lawn as we could. The east-facing aspect means there is sunshine by the house in the morning and by the garden room in the evenings.

After a new kitchen extension, there was a lot left in the garden to work around so being organised was key. Everything was carried carefully through the terraced house.

The brief was for a serene white garden with simple pops of orange or yellow. We chose plants that shine throughout all seasons, that are easy to manage.
