Solid oak

Making the best of a compact courtyard with room for plants, storage, seating and floor space, a complete transformation.
We built a soakaway and repaired drainage, then made a new garden from scratch. Lush planting for wildlife, Oak sleepers, new fences and smooth porcelain paving.
A stylish grey paint enhances and protects the old brick wall and sets off the planting beautifully. Big sleepers make solid structures. Oak benches in the sunny corner provide space to relax and get close to the plants. The benches also have storage space inside. Bespoke cushions provided by the client finish it off perfectly.
The garden was bitty and a little dull before, with some large plants limited to pots. The existing Acer, Lavender and Walnut were incorporated into the design. No need for the old shed and a surprising amount more light now floods into the back of the garden.
Wonky drains and tatty deck are all gone.
