Solid oak

Richmond: east-facing, small but quite sunny courtyard.

Making the best of a compact courtyard with room for plants, storage, seating and floor space, a complete transformation.

We built a soakaway and repaired drainage, then made a new garden from scratch. Lush planting for wildlife, Oak sleepers, new fences and smooth porcelain paving.

A stylish Farrow & Ball colour enhances and protects the old brick wall and sets-off the planting beautifully. Big sleepers make solid structures. Oak benches situated in the sunny corner of the courtyard, provide space to relax and get close to the plants. The benches open up to provide storage for this small garden. Bespoke cushions provided by the client really finish it off.

The garden was bitty and a little dull before with some large plants limited to pots. The Acer, Lavender and Walnut were incorporated
into the design.
No need for the old shed and a surprising amount more light now floods into the back of the garden.

Wonky drains and tatty deck are all gone.
