Hackney: south-facing, sunny urban space.

A typical long Victorian plot. The clients wanted a complete makeover before their second baby was born. So it was 'all systems go' to turn this around in double-quick time and deliver a garden for all the family.

​

We cleared all except for three trees, replanted the patio area, built a deck, installed a sunken trampoline, recycled setts to edge the lawn and house a bench in the shade, planted masses of climbers and shrubs... and laid a new lawn. From design to delivery (including a few amends) in 5 weeks. Everything had to go through the house, via the basement window, hard work!

From an untidy, cluttered garden to calm serenity with clearly defined, practical areas.
